Website & App Design

SightSea, Balboa Beans & Sea Hunter

In response to a fictional design challenge, I created a virtual surf photography exhibit for the San Diego County Fair, combining my love for photography with a focus on clean interface design. Inspired by gallery-style layouts and Southern California’s surf culture, the site features interactive hover elements, minimalist navigation, and ample negative space to let the art shine. Designed in Figma with a full design system and desktop prototype.

SightSea

For this prompted design challenge, I created a website for a fictional attraction focused on clear branding, intuitive navigation, and a user-friendly interface. The goal was to introduce the attraction, provide engaging information, and draw in viewers with a visually appealing and easy-to-navigate layout. The design emphasizes accessibility, strong visual hierarchy, and consistent branding to deliver a seamless user experience. Designed in Figma with a full design system and desktop prototype.

Balboa Beans

Inspired by Surfline, this app concept was created for the freediving community to explore, track, and share dive experiences. Users can check and save local dive spots, report real-time conditions like water clarity, tide, and weather, and log personal dives. The app includes social features to share dives with others or keep them private in a personal logbook. Designed with a clean, ocean-inspired interface, the app balances functionality with an inviting, intuitive user experience tailored for ocean enthusiasts. Designed in Figma with a full design system and mobile prototype.
